La Cassette nodigt je uit voor een visuele reis door het vibrerende nachtleven van Utrecht. Deze tentoonstelling verkent de underground clubcultuur van de stad, waar elektronische muziek en iconische feesten bloeiden. Maak een reis door het verleden of verken de oorsprong.
Ontdek de geluiden van Jeff Mills, The Prodigy, Joost van Bellen en Erik de Man die speelden in clubs als Arena, De (Vrije) Vloer, Tivoli Oudegracht, Hal16, Sophie's Palace en meer. De tentoonstelling belicht genres als Techno, Jungle, Acid, House, Hardcore, Breakbeat, Drum n Bass en HipHop.
Er is speciale aandacht voor de poster- en flyercultuur, waarbij de visuele kunst wordt getoond die de scene definieerde. Beleef in de Tuinzaal van het museum een meeslepend audiovisuele installatie die de essentie van het tijdperk vastlegt.
Elke bezoeker ontvangt een gratis exemplaar van Rave Diggers Vol. 1, een boek over de Utrechtse partyscene.
